Discover and taste blue lotus from Italian Tea Soul. The dried blue lotus flower is often referred to as the "flower of intuition" and is believed to increase our intuitive ability and altered states of consciousness during ceremonies and meditation. Blue lotus is also said to promote concentration, relaxation and lucid dreaming.

The dried lotus flower (Nymphaea Caerulea) is depicted on many papyri and wall paintings in the temples of the Karnak and Luxor valleys and has been a ritual ingredient used in both ancient Egypt and the Mayan Empire.

Preparation
To make tea, use about 1 tablespoon of petals per cup along with hot warm water. Pour almost boiling water over the flowers and let them rest together for about 5-7 minutes. Remember that a longer brewing time makes the taste more bitter. One package provides 22 tea servings.
